ကုန်းလမ်းအကောက်ခွန်အက်ဥပဒေကို ပြင်ဆင်သည့် ဥပဒေ

ပြည်ထောင်စုလွှတ်တော်သည် ဤဥပဒေကို ပြဋ္ဌာန်းလိုက်သည်။
၁။ ဤဥပဒေကို ကုန်းလမ်းအကောက်ခွန်အက်ဥပဒေကို ပြင်ဆင်သည့် ဥပဒေဟု ခေါ်တွင်စေရမည်။
၂။ ကုန်းလမ်းအကောက်ခွန်အက်ဥပဒေတွင် ပါရှိသော “President of the Union” ဆိုသည့်စကားရပ်ကို “Ministry of Finance” ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ဖြင့် လည်းကောင်း၊ “Union of Burma”ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ကို “the Republic of the Union of Myanmar”ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ဖြင့် လည်းကောင်း၊ “Financial Commissioner”ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ကို “Union Minister of Finance” ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ဖြင့် လည်းကောင်း၊ “Commissioner of Customs” ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ကို “Director General of Customs” ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ဖြင့်လည်းကောင်း၊ “Collector of Land Customs” ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ကို “Competent Customs Official” ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ဖြင့်လည်းကောင်း အသီးသီးအစားထိုးရမည်။
၃။ ကုန်းလမ်းအကောက်ခွန်အက်ဥပဒေ ပုဒ်မ ၂၊ ပုဒ်မခွဲ (က)ကို အောက်ပါအတိုင်း အစားထိုးရမည်-

“(a) the expression to the passing or importation or exportation of customs duties payable goods which is entered a land customs area, by any means includes passing, importation or exportation by pipelines, underground cables or other electronic means to any part of a foreign frontier.” |
၄။ ကုန်းလမ်းအကောက်ခွန်အက်ဥပဒေ ပုဒ်မ ၅၊ ပုဒ်မခွဲ (၁) ကို အောက်ပါ အတိုင်း အစားထိုးရမည်-

Permit for goods carried across the border areas.
|
“(1) Every person desiring to pass any goods, whether dutiable goods or not, by land out of or into any foreign territory by means of sub-section (a) of section 2 of this Act shall apply in writing for a permit for the passage to the relevant offi cer in charge of land customs station.” |
၅။ ကုန်းလမ်းအကောက်ခွန်အက်ဥပဒေ ပုဒ်မ ၇ တွင်-

(က) |
“ပုဒ်မခွဲ (၁)၊ ပုဒ်မခွဲငယ် (ဂ)တွင် ပါရှိသည့် “or four thousand kyats, whichever is greater” ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ကိုပယ်ဖျက်ရမည်။” |

“ပုဒ်မခွဲ (၃) တွင်ပါရှိသည့် “not exceeding one thousand kyats” ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ကို “not exceeding fi ve hundred thousand kyats” ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ဖြင့် အစားထိုးရမည်။” |
၆။ ကုန်းလမ်းအကောက်ခွန်အက်ဥပဒေ ပုဒ်မ ၉၊ ပုဒ်မခွဲ (၂)၊ ပုဒ်မခွဲငယ် (ဈ)တွင် ပါရှိသည့် “who have entered a land customs area from foreign territory, and” ဆိုသည့် စကားရပ်ကို “who have entered, by any means, a land customs area from foreign territory, and”ဆိုသည့်စကားရပ်ဖြင့် အစားထိုးရမည်။
၇။ ကုန်းလမ်းအကောက်ခွန်အက်ဥပဒေ ပုဒ်မ ၉ ၏နောက်တွင် ပုဒ်မ ၁၀ ကို အောက်ပါအတိုင်း ဖြည့်စွက်ရမည်-
