Ukraine says it’s seeking clarification from Washington, after the US said it would halt delivery of key weapon systems promised to Kyiv. The White House said the decision was made, in order to put US interests first, amid concerns that American stockpiles are running low. Russia welcomed the announcement, saying it would hasten the end of the war. Ukraine’s foreign ministry said any delay in the supply of weapons would fuel Moscow’s aggression. We talk about what is behind the news that the US is cutting some of its military aid to Ukraine with Leon Aron, who is an expert in Russian politics and US-Russia relations.
